Okay, call me old fashioned, but these images are what I would have found in "Life" magazine along with a very detailed report in article form. The pictures stirred me, but the would article move me just as much so. The article would give me history of the event, as well as current happenings. And hopefully some facts. While it wasn't instant and live, it was more detailed and informative. And I didn't see 1000 hands with phones up in the air in "Life" magazines award winning photos. There is a lot that can be said about citizen journalism, but I think even more about professional journalism.
